True Vintage 1970s Hydrangea Floral Print Silk Asymmetrical Blouson Sleeve Dress - S / M
This stunning silk 1970s-era dress features a darling hydrangea floral print in mauve, blue, brown and cream. It features:
• Body-skimming, bias-cut 1940s-inspired silhouette with gathering at bust and draped back
• Tie-neck detail with keyhole
• Bishop sleeves with gathered elastic cuffs
• Asymmetrical hem longer at the sides and shorter in the center
• No pockets
• Fully lined with beige lining except at sleeves
• Back plastic zip closure finished with hook-and-eye
• No fabric content label, but appears to be a silk outer shell with acetate lining
• ILGWU red, white & blue label - made in USA. No designer label
• Based on the label, style and construction, I estimate this piece dates to the 1970s
• Care: Dry clean or hand wash cold
• This item has been hand washed
Very good vintage condition. Note, the draped area at back of bodice sits slightly unevenly.
